Headshot Guidelines

Please submit a recent headshot for use in OSF’s program and marketing materials.

We understand that not everyone has professional photos, but we do ask that your photo meet the following basic standards:

  • No selfies, please. Ask a friend to take your photo if needed.

  • Well-lit and in focus. Natural lighting works great—stand facing a window or go outside on a cloudy day.

  • Neutral or simple background. Try to avoid cluttered or distracting spaces.

  • Framed from the shoulders up. This helps us clearly feature your face in print and digital materials.

  • No heavy filters or editing. Please avoid glam filters, black and white, or stylized effects.

  • Dress simply. Solid colors tend to photograph better than patterns or logos.
