The Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival was founded on the premise that it would serve as a training ground for future theatre artisans. Part of that training is making well-rounded performers as well as teachers of the craft to ensure the continuation of the cycle.
We accept students from age 2 through adult

Community Production Class:
A CHRISTMAS CAROL
Adapted by Justin Borak
Performances: December 19–21 | Montgomery Auditorium
Tuition: FREE | Open to all ages | No experience necessary

Join the magic of the holiday season in this brand-new community theatre opportunity! This fall, the OSF Academy for the Performing Arts invites performers of all ages to be part of A Christmas Carol, a heartwarming production adapted by Justin Borak. This unique class functions as both a learning experience and a full-scale theatrical production. During the first week, participants will dive into the script and learn about the audition process. Auditions will take place in the second week of class, and from there, we’ll begin building our show together. While some professional actors will be cast in key roles (such as Scrooge), the heart of the production will be our community. There is no tuition fee for this class; however, participants will be responsible for providing their costume pieces, shoes, and personal items. By registering, you'll commit to the project and help us stay connected throughout the rehearsal process. Whether you're stepping on stage for the first time or returning to your theatrical roots, we hope you'll be part of this festive celebration of storytelling and community.
